Although it's winter in Chicago, Xmas was such a beautiful, sunny day. I was able to snap these cool shoots at the Edgewater beach.
calligraphy… robbhand
Calligraphy has enable me to be more aware of the individual letter's structures. I pay more attention to terminals, strokes, counters, bowls, serifs, etc. While I'm not really good at it, I encourage everybody to give it a try. Specially graphic and type designers.
Pilsen Open Studios (Art Walk 2011)
Whether it's photography, sculpture, mixed media, installations, printmaking, digital art, drawing, paintings, whatever you may think, it can be found in Pilsen. This is truly a vibrant neighborhood with a vast community of visual artist, of course, the best Mexican food too!
Pinto and the Bean
A brief account of my attendance to Pinto and the Bean's CD release house party. Pinto and the Bean is a Chicago based little band with not so little sound. They're very creative and passionate about their music without taking themselves too seriously.
